Will Nuclear Energy Stocks Crash in 2025?

Will nuclear energy stocks crash in 2025? Some analysts are concerned that potential damage to Ukraine’s nuclear power plant could thwart the global nuclear energy renaissance.

But this is unlikely.

To be sure, the situation in Ukraine is a perilous one.

As reported by the UN, independent UN human rights experts have warned of an escalating risk of nuclear disaster in Ukraine following Russia’s continued attacks on the country’s electrical infrastructure, with the most recent strike occurring on November 17th.

The experts recalled credible allegations of Russian forces subjecting staff at Europe’s biggest nuclear energy facility, the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP), to intimidation, arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and torture.

“Having reportedly lost two-thirds of its power generation capacity, further damage to Ukraine’s electricity system could lead to an electricity blackout which would increase the risk of operating nuclear reactors losing access to the grid for powering their safety systems,” the experts cautioned.

They warned that such a scenario could trigger a nuclear disaster potentially exceeding both the 2011 Fukushima Daiichi accident in Japan and the 1986 Chernobyl disaster in Ukraine.

There’s nothing inherently dangerous about splitting atoms in a controlled environment to create electricity.  But people can create dangerous conditions.  In the absence of poor logistical planning and war, there would never be a single worry about nuclear power.  But such conditions don’t exist in the real world.

Truth is, conventional nuclear power plants can pose a threat to human health and safety due to human error.  Even the most bullish of nuclear energy stock investors can’t deny it.  Fortunately, conventional nuclear power plants are becoming as relevant as typewriters and rotary phones.

Nuclear Energy Stocks for the Win

Thanks to incredible advances in technology, today’s nuclear power plants offer the kind of safety and reliability that’s never existed before with traditional nuclear power plants.

This is particularly true in the case of small modular reactors (SMRs), which are similar to nuclear fission reactors, except that they’re smaller, more compact, and can be situated virtually anywhere.

SMRs are also far safer than traditional nuclear reactors because they’re far less likely to melt down.  As well, with SMRs, you have…

  • Greater scalability
  •  Lower initial capital costs
  •  Lower maintenance costs

These SMRs are proving to be so superior to traditional nuclear power plants that they’re now being designed to supply the power needs of the “power-hungry” AI industry.  An industry, by the way, that’s expected to increase the demand for electricity by as much as 75% before the end of the decade.

Because SMRs can be sited practically anywhere, tech companies are lining up to use their own SMRs to power their operations.  And as luck would have it, we’ve discovered the only company providing a very specific type of nuclear fuel that is required to run these SMRs.

The company is publicly-traded, and you can get all the details on what is now our favorite nuclear energy stock for 2025.

To a new way of life and a new generation of wealth…
